Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Falcon Board of Mayor and Aldermen until 10:00 AM local time, October 1st, 2024, at the Town of Falcon Town Hall located at 125 Nevils Road, Sledge, MS, at which time and place all proposals will be opened and read aloud. Electronic bids may be submitted in lieu of paper bids at www.wcmplanroom.com.

2. Williams, Clark & Morrison, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 213 South Main Street, Yazoo City, Mississippi.

“Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs.  Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 requires that the town and contractors participating in CDBG projects give opportunities for job training and employment to lower income residents of the Section 3 area that is described as the Town of Falcon, MS. Section 3 also requires that “to the maximum extent feasible” contracts for work in connection with Section 3 covered projects be awarded to business concerns that are located in or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the Section 3 area.”

The Town of Falcon reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities therein and to determine which is the best bid. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of total bid, made payable to the Town of Falcon must accompany each proposal.

A performance bond and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required.
